The Uvex p1us 2.0 is the lightest hard shell ski helmet on the market – and even safer. This is made possible by the patented Uvex + technology with a specially developed plastic. This makes the ski helmet 20 percent lighter and at the same time 16 percent more robust than the standard for ski helmets. Uvex + technology stands for German engineering from the Uvex development centre in Fürth. It is the combination of extremely impact-resistant, very light outer shell made of a special thermoplastic plastic, and shock-absorbing inner shell. So durable, lightweight and safe. The advantage for every skier: with a light helmet, the centrifugal forces are significantly reduced to the neck muscles, for more fun when skiers and lower risks of neck injuries in a fall. A clever active ventilation system ensures draft-free ventilation. In addition, the helmet is equipped with a removable and washable liner.
